Ads

Displaying ads is a way to monetize non-Premium users. They are of type "Interstitial", which is a full-page image or video. Ads are displayed after every n-th saved transaction (where n is controlled by Remote Config). Currently set at 3: the "before-ad" screen opens after every 3rd saved expense or income. Transfers and debt settlements do not count toward this rate as we do not wish to punish users after settling debts. On the before-ad screen, the user can choose between viewing the ad (i.e. continuing as a free user) and viewing the purchase screen. If they purchase any Premium product the app immediately acknowledges that and the user will not see any more ads. Note: killing the app on the before-ad screen allows the user to avoid viewing the ad, but it will appear again after saving another transaction.

Web

Web uses a provider Applixir which has their own advertisers but is also connected to Google Ad Manager. To enable ads on the web we have to be approved by them and have an ads.txt file on our web app. Contact: robel@applixir.com.

Mobile apps

Apps are connected to Google AdMob which provides them with ads. Meta Audience Network is also connected in the mediation group.
